Intuitive Message for the Gemini Full Moon: Less is Moreby Julia Bondi

Less is more…this familiar, old saying is worthy of consideration at this time in our world of growing economic pain and fear. During this full moon of Sagittarius which closely follows Pluto’s move into Capricorn we can review the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn before the Sun moves into Capricorn ushering in the winter solstice.
Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter encourages us to seek expansion, gain, optimism and the desire for more while Capricorn ruled by Saturn introduces contraction, loss, pessimism and the need for limitation. It is too easy to either blame greed, over expansion, false optimism, self-indulgent excess or to retreat into fear, hoarding, false pessimism or paralysis. Our souls and our human journey are always leading us to more understanding, the realm of Sagittarius, through the information we gain from our own experience, the realm of Gemini. What are we learning, how can we rethink our economy, our finances, our trade, our business architecture, our ethics and our world?
Resisting the temptation to reject the many years of the transcendental planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, all transiting Sagittarius over the last three decades, it becomes possible to see that the excess of too much consumption and too little restraint lead not to a joyful, healthy world but to painful imbalance and injustice. Yet, in this same period we have seen that we can create whatever we want, we can lift millions of people out of poverty; we can expand our money supply, our lifespan or whatever we focus our minds and effort upon. It is this very expansive period that has connected us throughout the world, that has broken down old barriers between races and ethnicities and has shown us that the world can be bigger, grander and whatever we want. This very growth and sense of possibility has led to a world that has chosen Sagittarian hope in our new bi-racial president of the United States who represents a new world to the entire world.
We have come far, but now we are in need of rethinking how to be expansive and responsible, to be hopeful and pragmatic, to be optimistic and realistic and to see how far we have come yet how far we have to go. A return to Sagittarian natural law is a solid basis for a truer balance, harmony, justice, fairness and life-giving architecture for the 21st century. With the Moon in Gemini reflecting the light of the Sun in Sagittarius, this is the moment of the year to reflect on the power of ideas and the words that express those ideas when the ideas are supported by an expansive, aware understanding. It is time for all of us to contribute our ideas, our visions, our solutions for this momentous opportunity to rethink and revision our world.
