125 Mandala Gohonzon By Nichiren Shonin

[NATURES WISDOM] Focus. Chant. Breath. Chant. and you chant and your chant and you chant. evolve. satori. kaizen. ALOHA.kai

Nichiren Shonin, founder of Nichiren Shu Buddhism. Nichiren wrote many copies of the Great Mandala, of which 125 copies are preserved undamaged. None of them, however are identical. This variety shows us the development of Nichiren's thought. The earlist copy is dated the ninth day of the tenth month of 1271, within a month of the Tatsu-no-kuchi Incident, when Nichiren was almost executed. The latest copy is dated the sixth month of 1282, four months before his death. The eight earliest copies, supposed to have been written before the eighth day of the seventh month of 1273, which is said to be the date of his first writing of the Great Mandala, are considered to have been written as a study. The copy dated the third month of 1280, which is now preserved at Myohonji Temple in Kamakura, is regarded [by Nichiren Shu] as the most significant one Nichiren had intended to inscribe. This copy is now designated as the Shutei Honzon, the "Gohonzon Authorized by the Nichiren Sect."

[Thought for the Day]

BIG PAY AND LITTLE RESPONSIBILITY ARE CIRCUMSTANCES SELDOM FOUND TOGETHER.

It is possible to go through life without ever accepting any responsibility, but such freedom from the cares of the world comes at an enormous financial cost. If you make it a practice to go out the back door when responsibility walks through the front, you will also miss out on the opportunities that always accompany responsibility. In almost any vocation, profession, or calling, your remuneration is directly proportional to the responsibility that accompanies your position. Make it a practice to volunteer for more responsibility or simply to assume it. There are times when you must get on with the task at hand without ever being formally told you’re in charge of it. If you demonstrate that you are a can-do kind of person, responsibility and the higher pay that accompanies it will come to you.

[MIND-BODY-SPIRIT]
Exercise these three areas of your life on a daily basis. -Exercise your mind with puzzles, reading and study. Body, hit the gym, get out and be active, stretch and move. Spirit is engaging with people, sharing with others and communicating your thoughts to another. You'll be amazed how your life will lift to a higher vibration if you practice exercise in these 3 area's of your life. Lift your vibration to resonate at a higher frequency ... you'll literally banish all that doesn't serve you in your highest good. -And that's one to grow on. ALOHA.kai

Shiunko

A friend of mine introduced me to "Shiunko" to help with my skin from the cuts and bruises from my accident. In addition to this ointments healing properties it can also be used for atopic dermatitus ... had I known about this ointment earlier I would not have experienced the Staphylococcus event I endured.

Efficacy of Shiunko for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.

University, Japan.

Shiunko is a typical Kampo drug made from herbal extracts and used to treat a range of conditions including atopic dermatitis. Shiunko, white petrolatum and 3.5% salt water were applied to the skin of atopic dermatitis patients, and their clinical effectiveness, and the changes in bacterial species and cell numbers on the skin were studied. Staphylococcus aureus was the main species seen but several other coagulase-negative staphylococci were also identified on some patients. Shiunko was clinically effective in four of seven patients (57%) compared with no patients for petrolatum and one of seven (14%) for salt water. Bacterial counts were reduced with Shiunko in four of seven patients compared with one of seven patients (14%) for both petrolatum and salt water. The results suggest that Shiunko may have antibacterial effects on staphylococci, and may be an effective treatment for atopic dermatitis and other skin infections caused mainly by Staphylococcus species.

Delta Healing Brain Waves

Delta is the slowest of all four brain wave frequencies.
It is most commonly associated with deep sleep, but also
with healing. Delta is the brain wave signal of the subconscious,
the seat from which intuition arises. Delta-based
programs are an ideal choice for their sleep and deep
regeneration potential.
Research has shown that when the brain is generating
a large amount of Delta waves, the pituitary gland triggers
the release of Growth Hormone, beneficial for healing and
regeneration. These programs offer the precise window
frequency associated with the release of healing-specific
neuro-chemicals

H
o’o Ponopono – The Power To Change The Outside World From The Inside Out

by Joe Vitale

“Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients – without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate’s chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person’s illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved. When I first heard this story I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane? It didn’t make any sense. It wasn’t logical, so I dismissed the story. However, I heard it again a year later.

I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called Ho’o Ponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn’t let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more. I had always understood “total responsibility” to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it’s out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that way. We’re responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does – but that’s wrong. The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility. His name is Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call.

I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years. That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work or visit. Dr Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal. ’After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely’ he told me. ‘Others who had to be heavily medicated, were getting off their medications. And those who had chance of ever being released were being freed. I was in awe. ‘Not only that’, he went on, ‘but the staff began to enjoy coming to work – absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released and all the staff were showing up to work. Today that ward is closed.’

This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: ‘What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?’ ‘I was simply healing the part of me that created them’ he said. I didn’t understand. Dr Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything is your life – simply because it is in your – is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation.

Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life. This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy or anything you experience and don’t like – is up for you to heal. They don’t exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn’t with them, it’s with you. And to change them, you have to change you. I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in Ho’o Ponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone, even a mentally ill criminal, you do it by healing you.

I asked Dr Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patient’s files?

I just kept saying ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’ over and over again, he explained.

That’s it?

That’s it.

Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself and as you improve yourself you improve your world. Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message. This time I decided to try Dr Len’s method. I kept silently saying ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’. I didn’t say this to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance. Within an hour I got an email from the same person. He apologized for his previous message Keep in mind that I didn’t take any outward action to get that apology. I didn’t even write him back. Yet by saying ‘I loved you’, I somehow healed within me what was creating him. I later attended a Ho’o Ponopono workshop by Dr Len. He’s now 70 years old – considered a grandfatherly shaman and is somewhat reclusive. He praised my book ‘The Attractor Factor’. He told me that as I improve myself, my books vibration will raise, and that everyone will feel it when they read it. In short, as I improve myself, my readers will improve.

‘What about the books that are already sold and out there?’ I asked. ‘They aren’t out there’, he explained, once again blowing my mind with his mystic wisdom. ‘They are still in you’. In short, there is no out there. It would take a whole book to explain this advanced technique with the depth it deserves. Suffice to say, that whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there’s only one place to look: inside yourself. When you look, do it with love.”

Intuitive Message for the Gemini Full Moon: Less is Moreby Julia Bondi

Less is more…this familiar, old saying is worthy of consideration at this time in our world of growing economic pain and fear. During this full moon of Sagittarius which closely follows Pluto’s move into Capricorn we can review the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn before the Sun moves into Capricorn ushering in the winter solstice.
Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter encourages us to seek expansion, gain, optimism and the desire for more while Capricorn ruled by Saturn introduces contraction, loss, pessimism and the need for limitation. It is too easy to either blame greed, over expansion, false optimism, self-indulgent excess or to retreat into fear, hoarding, false pessimism or paralysis. Our souls and our human journey are always leading us to more understanding, the realm of Sagittarius, through the information we gain from our own experience, the realm of Gemini. What are we learning, how can we rethink our economy, our finances, our trade, our business architecture, our ethics and our world?
Resisting the temptation to reject the many years of the transcendental planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, all transiting Sagittarius over the last three decades, it becomes possible to see that the excess of too much consumption and too little restraint lead not to a joyful, healthy world but to painful imbalance and injustice. Yet, in this same period we have seen that we can create whatever we want, we can lift millions of people out of poverty; we can expand our money supply, our lifespan or whatever we focus our minds and effort upon. It is this very expansive period that has connected us throughout the world, that has broken down old barriers between races and ethnicities and has shown us that the world can be bigger, grander and whatever we want. This very growth and sense of possibility has led to a world that has chosen Sagittarian hope in our new bi-racial president of the United States who represents a new world to the entire world.
We have come far, but now we are in need of rethinking how to be expansive and responsible, to be hopeful and pragmatic, to be optimistic and realistic and to see how far we have come yet how far we have to go. A return to Sagittarian natural law is a solid basis for a truer balance, harmony, justice, fairness and life-giving architecture for the 21st century. With the Moon in Gemini reflecting the light of the Sun in Sagittarius, this is the moment of the year to reflect on the power of ideas and the words that express those ideas when the ideas are supported by an expansive, aware understanding. It is time for all of us to contribute our ideas, our visions, our solutions for this momentous opportunity to rethink and revision our world.

Huna: Ancient Hawaiian Healing Wisdom

In ancient times the pre-warrior Hawaiian tribes lived according to fundamental laws and moral rule. The principles that were these laws are as follows:

1. IKE: We Make Our Reality. The World is What We Think It is. All knowledge Is Not Taught in the Same School. Be Aware.
Here the individual accepts responsibility for his/her life. The
wonderful challenge that is the gift of co-creation is embraced and
thoughts, words and actions are the tools with which we sculpt our
experience from the magical substance of Life. Thoughts, words and
actions have a vibratory impact upon the sensitive ethers of the space
that surrounds us and permeates everything. Thoughts, words and actions
leave a residual affect that we experience as our feelings. It is our
feeling experience with which we are constantly engaged that constantly
magnetizes our reality. How do you feel now? How do you usually feel?
This feeling experience defines your reality.

2. MAKIA: Energy Flows Where Attention Goes. Be Focused.
A fundamental quality of a true master is the ability to control
ones thoughts and to direct those thoughts to the highest and purest
considerations. Thought forms and accumulates with other thoughts forms
of a similar vibratory nature. Be mindful of what you think, what you
create, what you tune into and attract. Be aware.

3. MANA: All My Power Comes From Within. Be Confident. Let The Singer Select The Song.
The most potent natural resource is the Eternal Ocean of Divine
Light and Love which laps against the shores of the soul. The simple
challenge of life is: will I go to the shore and commune in the Holy
Instant with the Infinite Power within me. Everything we are looking
for in life is born in this holy relationship, in this Holy Communion
with the Greater part of I. It is accessed in stillness, it is accessed
in love. Through this sacred relationship the wonderful being I am may
emerge to express itself wholly upon the playing fields of manifest
creation. According to your faith so shall it be.

4. MANAWA: Now is The Moment of Power. Be Here. Strike While The Iron is Hot.
Enjoy the holy instant in the power of now. Strike the metal when it
is hot. Be fully, deeply present. Access through the feeling experience
the power of now. The door to eternity swings open in the here and now.
Gather your scattered spirit, focus, commit and in the depth of your
intuitive knowing accept all you truly are.

5. KALA: All Change Is Possible. There Are No Limits.
The only thing that limits the wonder of life flowing into our world
are the fear mechanisms we cling to. Let go of the rocks. Cease your
clinging, trust in The Great Ocean of Life and open your heart to the
infinite possibilities of existence. The time is now and the need is
great. Say Yes to Kala.

6. PONO: Harmony/Effectiveness is a measure of Truth. An Expert is Recognized by the Altar he builds.
Are you in tune with Life’s song of peace filled magical love? Are
you living your destiny, your Life purpose, your mission? Is there
disharmony in your life, if so why?
Harmony is a measure of Truth. Truth is a living presence in Life.
To the degree we are in harmony with Truth is the experience of magic
in our lives.

 7. ALOHA: To Love Is To Share The Happiness of The Breath of Life, with. Joy is In The Voice of Love.
The call of the times is to unify and share. Aloha is the spirit of
giving. The most important thing is to give the spirit of love. By
bathing in the Ocean of Love, we become that which we eternally are. By
maintaining a conscious contact with that ocean, through the Holy
Breath, we can bring it into our world and share it with each other.
Aloha is the spirit of togetherness in Love.
Wa hou makou, ka mana hila la. E ia I ka lani, Papa he ‘e nalu la He ‘e maluna
We emanated from Supreme Grace from the powerful ocean that
descended from the sun. We came from heaven. Distributed in waves we
surfed here from the sun, In flight from above.

Lessons for Zentrepreneurs

Lessons for Zentrepreneurs
authors of Wowisms:
Words of Wisdom for Dreamers and Doers: A Zentrepreneur's Guide

Slow down. Be grateful. Bow to the distinctiveness that is you: your mind, your body, your spirit and your splendor. In the words of Lao-Tzu who said, "Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment."

A Zentrepreneur is someone who risks letting go of preconceived notions in order to deepen their knowledge of self - and beyond.. But more than that, a Zentrepreneur is someone who has made his or her own life noble and rich beyond counting by simply living a dream defined. While an entrepreneur creates a business, a Zentrepreneur creates a business and a life.

Once you find a passionate interest, it hits you, permeates your mind. It creates a continuous array of bright spots, an elation and excitement that can absolutely, positively, one hundred percent, provide you with the most important tool you will need to achieve success. Passion provides you with the best possible odds to successfully catch and live your dream.

The importance of risk-taking is not what you may get from taking a risk, but rather what you become because of taking it. Embrace risk-taking as an opportunity to see and appreciate possibilities.

It is more important to know what you should not be doing in life than to know what you should be doing.

Focus on who you are and what you are capable of, resisting the strong pressure from family and friends and the self-imposed limits that may prevent you from opportunities for personal fulfillment and achievement. Eliminate the things you are tolerating and that are draining your energy. Stop putting up with what's dragging you down.

Putting your goals in writing makes them real. By clearly identifying what you want, both your conscious and subconscious mind will adjust your thinking process, regarding the written message as a focus and not merely a daydream..By writing down your goals you create a contract with yourself, documenting and increasing your personal commitment to shaping and defining them.

Failure is the lubricant of success.it is an essential building block needed to succeed. And how you handle failure is the single hardest battle you must face in accomplishing your dream.

A Zentrepreneur knows that to move on, sometimes the best light for the journey can be the result of a burning bridge.

Zentrepreneurs value their humanity and strive to be spirits of compassion, giving of themselves freely and without hesitation. Giving of your wisdom, value and service to others is like casting a pebble into the water. After the brevity of its drop, the ripples of energy continue to extend endlessly outward and in due course return to the Zentrepreneur's heart and soul manyfold.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a form of alternative psychotherapy, that purports to manipulate the body's energy field by tapping on acupuncture points while a specific traumatic memory is focused on, in order to alleviate a psychological problem. Critics have described the theory behind EFT as pseudoscientific and have suggested that any utility stems from its more traditional cognitive components, such as the placebo effect, distraction from negative thoughts, rather than from manipulation of meridians, and the therapeutic benefit of having someone actually listen.
